Geodesic Dome Roof

Tank storage and oil companies are increasingly interested in installing geodesic dome roof over existing floating roof tanks. The floating tank's roof is shielded from direct sunlight and radiation like a "big umbrella". Qualitech exceptional design Geodesic dome was developed under the guidance of API 650 and can be installed in-service.

Maintain tank longevity

Geodesic domes keep the wind outside the open top tank, eliminating the wind effect "drag" factor within the rim space. floating roof movements caused by the wind will be eliminated, resulting in improved performance & lifetime sealing. Furthermore, the ageing of the seal fabric & that of the paint on the floating roof is also reduced.
